A Critical Newborn Transfer from Agra to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi

A newborn baby was shifted from Agra to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), Delhi inside a Lifesavers ACLS Paediatric Ambulance. Due to the baby's fragile condition, the transfer required NICU-grade medical supervision.

A Neonatologist and a trained paramedic accompanied the baby, ensuring continuous, expert-level monitoring.

Critical Support During Transit

  • Neonatal ventilator with high ventilatory settings
  • Multiple infusion pumps for inotropes and IV fluids
  • Continuous monitoring of vital parameters
  • Incubator for thermal regulation to prevent hypothermia

The baby suffered from a severe chest infection, making ventilatory care highly sensitive and essential throughout the journey.

Outcome

The transport was successfully completed with stable parameters, and the baby was safely handed over to the NICU team at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for further treatment.
